For the love of Frames, August 29th Class

Capturing our favorite memories in photos is one of my favorite hobbies. I love photography and being surrounded by my favorite photos of family & friends around my home as well.  This is one of my favorite photo walls at our house. It's HUGE frame that takes up a the wall over our couch, it was my 30th birthday craft project with the Mr. and it turned out better than my craft brain even imagined.

Naturally, making frames has always been a big part of our Junque 2 Jewels business. We hand make and sell frames online, at local boutiques and at craft fairs as well. We want to share our frame making passion with you with a class featuring our newest frame style.

Date: Thursday, August 29th SOLD OUT

Time: 6-8pm

Where: Junque 2 Jewels Workshop (1906 NW 3rd Street, Bentonville, AR)

Project: Attendees will complete one 22x24 frame in the color, finish & design of their choice. Each frame holds one 8x10 photo. Additional frame kits will be available for purchase as well.

Cancellation Policy

You must provide at least a 24 hour advance notice if you cannot make your reserved class in order to receive a credit toward a future class. No refunds will be issued as payments are processed at the time the reservations are made.

Right to Cancel

Junque 2 Jewels reserves the right to cancel a class any time due to insufficient enrollment; registrants will be notified approximately 24 hours before the class is scheduled to begin and refunds will be processed or offer credit towards another class. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Attendees

Our regular scheduled classes are intended for painters age 16 and older. We do offer Kid classes on occasion for younger age groups where noted.

MAKERS Craft Saturday, September 14th

We are excited to announce our next MAKERS Craft Saturday date!

We are condensing our popular weekend retreat (if you haven't checked them out before, HERE is a recap) into a single day of crafting for those ladies who have a harder time getting away for an overnight weekend.

It will be a day all about MAKERS  (a.k.a. YOU, making cool stuff)! 

We will MAKE with our hands. We will MAKE crafty friends. We will MAKE our souls happy doing what we were MADE to do. Create!

The low down on this event:

• This ALL day event will take place on Saturday, September 14th at Junque 2 Jewels
• Price includes fabulous meals & endless beverages & snacks for the day
• Price includes all the supplies necessary to complete all the crafty projects we have planned for the weekend. We will be building, painting, sewing, MAKING all day long. (We don't like to brag but for our last MAKERS Saturday projects would have sold for over $400 retail - it's a bargain!)
• Lastly, we promise lots of surprises, inspiration & a pampered day for your soul.

MAKERS Craft Saturday Recap

Perhaps the only major FAIL for this MAKERS Craft Saturday was that we didn't get a group picture! We were so busy crafting & making cool things {and crafty friends} we didn't take a time out to pose. Boo. But everything else was pretty much AWESOME. Truly there was so much excitement and laughter throughout the day it was just a joy to craft with this group of women. Each of their projects was as unique & special as them. 

We have to brag on ourselves too, the project variety included everything from sewing, re-purposing items to painting & personalizing everything. Many items were home decor related & make great gifts or inspiration for redecorating a room. If you were to go out at purchase these items finished on Etsy or at retail you would pay more than $400!! What a value you get at J2J!

Anyway, our MAKERS did a few sewing projects, a Garden Flag & a Ruffled Table Runner - let me tell ya, they are ruffling pros now! 

We even had our own resident monogrammer onsite to personalize their projects which was a special touch. Shout out Kara for sitting at your desk for so many hours working with the ladies. You're amaze-balls!

The MAKERS also put their painting skills to use to make customized frames, rustic clocks, &  reclaimed wood signs

 Check out their frame choices ranging from clean & modern chevron to distressed & classic styles. They always inspire us by taking ideas to the next level.

Getting a little later into the evening...sparkles make us laugh uncontrollably.

We re-purposed old windows into chalkboards. They even learned the tips & tricks for creating beautiful hand lettering on their chalkboards.

The final project of the night was applique banners perfect for the porch or mantle, personalized with the word of their choice.

We can't wait to see where their projects find their final home & we hope we inspired each lady to share their creative spark. J2J is blessed to provide a place & instruction for ladies to be MAKERS!
