Scrapbooking...

It's been hit or miss on makin time to scrapbook but I did want to share a few of my latest projects.

You are my Happy - 2 Page Layout

Still lacking photos but I loved using the product from Echo Park to create a boyish layout featuring a technique  of layring squares to create the triagular edge which was a fun & easy element using paper to make a unique border.

Adore 2 Page Layout

This layout is a blend of vintage & bold modern patterns which I think is a great combo. I used lots of Hiedi Swapp Sugar Chic product to great this. I handcut flower blooms from patterened paper for the top right corner. Sprayed lost of banners with Glimmer mist to create layer, texture & sparkle too.

Spring, 2 Page Layout

To know Rhonna Farrar's work is to love her, I'm in fact a little obsessed with her & was just tickled she collaborated with My Minds Eye as a designer for this paper line.

I used a playful mixture of the patterned paper & stickers from the collection. I also used sewing patterns to create a looped fring border & flower. The title letters are Pink Paislee, sprayed with Glimmer Mist.

I love sparkle so used some glitter paper incorpareted as banners on both pages.

Overall it was a fun & fresh page...now to find the perfect photos to compliment the designs.

Baby Shower

I love being an auntie & I love throwing a party...so my sister's pregnancy is the perfect occasion for me on so many levels!

Time to throw a shindig.

We went with on owl theme to coordinate with baby Samantha's nursery decor. These fabulous owl stuffies served as uniqe centerpieces from Darling Livi - they were a hoot!

Cookies on a tiered tray were owl-dorable!

Set the theme outside as guests walked in with a cute baby quote.

The desert table all decked out.

This is the guests table with "Sam" framed on burlap. We used Wall Junque frames to instruct guests to sign a baby book for Sam as well as highlight ultrasound and maternity pictures. In the wood slab (created by my craft husband) we displayed handmade white chocolate suckers for favors to each guest.

Drink Bar, we did a breakfast punch since it was a brunch along with a Kerig Coffee bar for guets.

Somce of the yummy brunch food. Silver trays and small glasses found while thrifting added a special elegant & rustic touch - you don't get that with store bought platters!

We made a donut hole tree and offered bagels with spreads & muffins on the bread table.

Another look at the dessert table, we spend lots of time on the ribbon garland & it was stunning!

By the front door we purched a little owl decor and framed the shower invite in a Wall Junque Frame.

Close up of dessert table decor. We made a big S for Sam and painted & added glitter polka dots for some fun. We also made the cake & banner. More ultrasound pics in a Wall Junque frame.

This tree stand tiered cupcake stand was possibly my favorite element of party decor. Made by my craft husband.

Cake pop stand was quick & easy decor made by my craft husband.

You can see the marvelous girly breakfast table with tulle & ruffles peaking in this shot. Along with a garland we made with book pages & cupcake liners.

The shower was a smashing success & now mama is ready to welcome baby Sam. She loved all the DIY touches & it was fun to create many of the projects together. Guests were WOWed saying it was Pinterest brought to life!
